Jason Heppell
Founder and Creative Director
Jason wrote an historical crime fiction trilogy that drew offers from major publishers and literary agents. He was a winner in the Dragons Pen competition at the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival and was shortlisted for prestigious Bridport Prize. He has won and been highly placed in numerous writing and poetry competitions. He has taught creative writing in adult education sector in Leeds and online. A former lecturer in History at the University of Warwick, he has a PhD in History from University of Sheffield and postgraduate degree from the University of Oxford.
At DSU, Jason is responsible for delivery of consumer content and artistic direction.
