About DSU
The world is moving to Web3. This represents a shift away from entrenched technology companies, and toward individual ownership of our identity, our work, and our income. Our project enables narrative content creators to develop digital stories through collaboration on a decentralised story-development platform. Their work is directly tied to their compensation, without intermediaries.
Our company is based in Leeds, Yorkshire, and is part of the thriving regional digital media and creative sector in the region. We have excellent partnerships with XR Stories, whose remit is to support research and development for companies working in cutting-edge digital technologies in Yorkshire. Moreover, we have strong ties with leading Universities in York, Reading and Leeds.
Fiction 360°
Content creators will provide an enhanced reading experience via a new digital storytelling medium – Fiction 360°.
This is total story immersion, not just in words, but through multiple creative formats. From graphic design to audio, from interactive maps to podcasts, these features are not superficial add-ons, they are integral part of the story itself. This isn’t gaming or escape-rooms, it is a supercharged enrichment of storytelling.
The DSU pORTAL
To provide this enhanced medium, a bespoke web-based platform is in development. Coined the Digital Story Universe Portal, our platform brings together elements of fan fiction, gaming, multimedia streaming and classic storytelling to provide a single area to experience Fiction 360.

The first story to be presented through the DSU portal is ‘The Valley of Death’
A tech billionaire, a diamond edged Slaughter Knife, a banker cut to pieces in Yosemite National Park.
Detective Abe Abrahams wanted a new life in the mountain forests to escape a death wish.
Now he needs answers before his wish comes true.
In Abe’s way is the person closest to him, Raven. Ex-army officer, veteran of Iraq and his partner on the case. She has her demons, she wants a second chance.
He wants her gone.
Because she’s a liability.
Because she’s family.
The San Francisco Chief of Police wants Abe to fail. For the chief has a secret: a deal to keep the streets safe. And she knows if Abe uncovers the truth…
The city will burn.
The criminals want Abe to succeed. The Spartans, murderous psychopaths from the digital underworld, watch and guide his every step.
They want revenge.
They want war.
As past, present and future collide, Abe faces the horror that as reality itself starts to fracture, only the final solution remains.
